The Idea

With global oil decreasing and problems arising in the Middle East, the rest of the world will encounter issues cocerning ways of generating power. Our solution - creating a satelite that has the ability to collect the billions and billions of gigawatts of energy. This could power the earth for centuries.

To complete this, we would use technology from many different companies.

• Tesla is creating and manufacturing industrial sized batteries to store solar power. This technology can store energy in the satellite and then store it while the satelite is on it's trip back to Earth.
• Another idea coming from Elon Musk, the reusable rocket. With this technology, the SolarWindGen can always be reliable.
• Finally, the satellite will feature on top of the all of the above, a .4inch copper wire. This will be aimed at the sun and then wil range from one thousand feet to half a mile. A magnetic feild would be created and then this in turn would capture electrons from the solar winds.
• This power would then generate power for the satellite to return to Earth or to beam the power down in form of IR laser which could be aimed at recievers back at Earth or stored in the Tesla made batteries and land back on Earth's surface.'
